Alaska Heliskiing is locally owned and operated by Haines, Alaska resident Sean "Dog" who has been skiing Alaska terrain via helicopter for 20 years. Haines, Alaska boasts the biggest mountains in the state, located close to our heli pad making your rates for heliskiing with us the most reasonable ones you will find anywhere. Weekly Package Deal:

  • $3950 / person 5 days of helicopter skiing at 6 runs per day (Or a cumulative count of 30 runs in one week)*
  • Includes 7 nights accomodations
  • Weekly Equipment rental (backpack, shovel and avalanche tranceiver)
* Refunds available for runs under 30 not acheived due to weather at $75/run.

Daily Rate:

  • $600 for 6 runs (20-24,000 total vertical feet for the day).

Charter Rate:

  • $2800 per hour for helicopter flight time and guide.
This rate is calculated on helicopter time used by each group of 5 skiiers. Using this method to determine your billing for a day of heliskiing puts you in charge of how many runs you do in a day. The more runs you do the cheaper the cost per run. For example let's say your group of 5 people ski's 10 runs in a day and uses a total of 1.4 hours of flight time to accomplish this. 1.4 hours of flight time multiplied by $2800.00 divided by 5 persons will equal $784 per person for the day. The cost per run is $78.40. This example is purely hypothetical as billings will vary depending upon where you go and how much flight time is used. The 5 person group may collectively decide to stop skiing after only a few runs and save their flight time for a better day. This unique option allows you to choose when, where, and how often you ski during your time in Haines.

Ski Plane and Snow Cat skiing also available for grey days as well as snow machine rentals for general fun in the snow stuff.
