III - Ski Pole
Adjustable straps are attached to quick release
clips. Wrist straps are designed to detach from the grip
in the event a pole becomes inadvertantly lodged in an obstacle.
Over-molded grip features a soft, comfortable outer layer
over a strong, durable, rigid core. Built in a 6 degree
corrective angle.
Shaft:
The Odyssey III utilizes an aluminum upper which features
Life-Link's ovalized locking mechanism. The middle section
is made of strong, lightweight, chrome-moly steel. The lower
section uses carbon fiber for stiffness and extreme lightweight.
The lower adjusts by using Life-Link's new Posi-Loc mechanism.
The pole extends to 56" and packs to 26". Basket & Tip The
Odyssey III comes with the 3 1/2" snowflake basket for soft
snow. The tip is Life-Link's new Flex Tip which is a replaceable
cabon tip that is ideal for touring and ski mountaineering.
